As a new user, I spent at least 5 minutes hunting for a "post" link -- perhaps this could be a usability concern. I usually hide the bookmarks toolbar to reduce clutter and conserve
screen space. Is there an alternative to the bookmarklet for posting
new links?

The first place I looked was between my username and the tools link. Then I looked in tools, and at the bottom of the front page. I think the best place to put it for now would be in the top right area.

The button can be in the regular bookmarks too, doesn't have to be in the toolbar.
